Chateau Gros Caillou St Emilion Grand Cru

A blend of Merlot (65%), Cabernet Franc (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), aged in a mix of steel and oak for a modern, fresh style with traditional structure and complexity. Dark in colour with aromas of red and black hedgerow fruits and earthy notes of forest floor. This is beautifully matured, controlled, concentrated wine, rich in fruit and layered with savoury elements, silky tannins and a fine-boned structure.  

For more than four generations this estate situated in Saint Sulpice de Faleyrens, near Saint Emilion, has been the property of the Dupuy Family. Third generation Jacques Dupuy has increased vineyard holdings latterly and manages the château with his son Eric, the pair constantly working to improve the quality of output at every opportunity.
